Who’s the person taking my photo?

 

Oh hey that's me. I’m Zara, you can call me Z. Growing up I wanted to be a skateboarder and Photographer. There's still time right?? I enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors and spending time with my husband, our baby daughter and our dog. I also enjoy sitting on the couch and editing photos for 5 hours at a time while the Office plays in the background. (Not an option anymore I usually edit while the baby naps; shoutout to mamas everywhere, I see you) 

 

I received a journalism degree from Emerson College, which helps inform the approach I take to making your photographs. My method is more about documenting and capturing the moments, and less about posing you into people you aren't.

 

Feel uncomfortable and awkward taking photos? Yeah, that’s me too. Hence why I’m behind the camera. Hence why I chose not to get engagement photos myself when I was getting married, a decision I completely regret. Self-confidence isn’t easy, I understand it’s scary to jump in front of the camera. But if you're ready to take the plunge I'm here to help you get some beautiful photos of yourself. I ask that you just show up as you. Wear something that gives you a little pep and honestly, just bring some good vibes.
